Off-grid (island) PV installation with a maximum capacity of 4kW built for the purposes of powering the irrigation system at a fruit garden.

The ground-mounted photovoltaic installation includes 7 pieces of high-efficiency photovoltaics with a 30-year performance warranty. The panels are placed on a specially built structure, where they will be exposed to direct sunlight from dawn till dusk.

The single-phase hybrid inverter allows monitoring of the current condition of all elements of the system – current production power, battery state of charge and so on. Should the inverter be connected to the internet, it can be monitored through an online portal, where various historical and real-time statistics regarding the PV plant are available.

With the PV plant being the only source of electricity, batteries were also included in the installation in order to provide a constant power supply for the irrigation system even when the solar power is not fully sufficient.
