15kW Three-Phase Hybrid PV Installation, Dolna Banya

Roof mounted hybrid photovoltaic installation with a max output of 15.04kW built with the intents of fully meeting the power needs of the household as well as providing emergency power supply.

The power plant includes 32 PV panels with power output of 470W each and a 30-year performance warranty. The photovoltaics are situated on the East and West slope of the house’s roof. This way they are going to be continuously exposed to sunlight throughout the whole day.

The hybrid inverted, which is included in the installation, grants access to a mobile app. The app allows the user to track a variety of indicators – power output from the panels, power usage, battery charge, ecological benefits and so on. The data is displayed in real time, but it is also stored and available as historical data. This information can be used to optimize the power usage, if necessary.

The batteries provide energy, which has been generated through the solar panels even when there is no sufficient sunlight to power the household at the moment. The batteries can act as an emergency power supply in case there is a power outage.

The amount of photovoltaics in combination with the total battery capacity also allow the plant to work in island/off-grid mode, providing complete independence from the local power supply.
